Oticon Reveal uses two AI-based processing systems that work together in real time. Speech AI analyzes and enhances speech, while Context AI preserves the meaningful sounds of your surroundings. The two systems evaluate your sound environment every two milliseconds and work together to find your personal "balance point," the individualized blend of speech clarity and environmental awareness that suits you best.
Rather than stripping away as much background sound as possible, Reveal is designed to keep you connected to your environment while making conversation easier to follow. This is Oticon's third generation of AI-based hearing technology, building on Oticon More and Oticon Intent.
The Reveal AI Clarifier is where the dual-AI system processes speech and environmental sound together, replacing the previous MoreSound Intelligence terminology. Reveal also continues to use 4D sensor technology, which evaluates your behavior and listening situation before the hearing aid determines how sound should be processed. The result is amplification that responds to what you're actually doing, not just to the noise level around you.
The Reveal Optimizer is Oticon's updated feedback prevention system, offering faster and more precise feedback management along with additional high-frequency fitting headroom. For patients who prefer open or vented fittings, this means Dr. Ivory can often deliver more of your prescribed amplification while reducing the risk of whistling, an important advantage when we verify your fitting with Real Ear Measurements.
Oticon Reveal includes a new connectivity platform and radio transmitter for a stronger, more stable wireless experience:
A new Streaming Comfort feature automatically reduces surrounding environmental sound while audio is being streamed, helping phone calls, music, and podcasts stay clear and prominent. You can adjust how much attenuation is applied through the mobile app, or Dr. Ivory can set it for you in the fitting software.
Reveal is rechargeable and works with Oticon's premium charging hardware, including both a desktop charger and a portable travel charger. A new Oticon CROS transmitter is also being introduced with the platform for patients with single-sided deafness. The CROS transmitter uses the same desk and travel chargers as the hearing aids, features near-field magnetic induction and Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, and offers dual streaming. Reveal is available in several standard colors, with a new Deep Plum option.
