Signia MaX

Signia's newest AI platform, with four neural networks that manage speech, noise, and your own voice together.

About the

MaX

At La Cañada Hearing Aids & Audiology in La Cañada Flintridge, CA, we're pleased to offer the Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX, the first hearing aid built on Signia's new Multi-adaptive Xperience (MaX) platform. Instead of using AI for a single task such as noise reduction, MaX coordinates four task-specific Deep Neural Networks that work together to understand your listening environment. Dr. Kevin Ivory provides expert fitting and ongoing care to help you get the most from this advanced technology.

Four AI Networks Working Together

Signia calls the new processing approach Acoustic Intelligence. It combines four Deep Neural Networks, each trained for a different listening task, that continuously share information so the hearing aids understand what's happening around you before deciding how to process sound:

  • Speech Detection identifies speech and conversation partners in complex environments
  • Own Voice Detection recognizes when you're speaking
  • Scene Analysis continuously evaluates your surroundings instead of relying on fixed classifications
  • Noise Processing analyzes the type and location of noise to determine how much to reduce it

Designed for Difficult Group Conversations

Following a conversation when several people are talking and noise comes from multiple directions is one of the biggest challenges of hearing loss. MaX analyzes these changing environments in real time and coordinates processing between both hearing aids as the conversation moves. In Signia-sponsored research, 97% of participants performed better with MaX in noisy group conversations compared with key competitors. As with all manufacturer-cited results, we view these as promising evidence that still benefits from evaluation of your individual performance.

A Powerful Chip and Broad Connectivity

Running four Deep Neural Networks continuously requires substantial processing power. Compared with Signia IX, the new MaX chip provides 54 times more processing power, 50% greater energy efficiency, and twice the memory, allowing Acoustic Intelligence to stay active all day.

Pure Charge&Go MaX also uses Signia's OneConnect Technology, combining Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, telecoil connectivity, and Auracast hardware capability in one hearing aid. Please note that while the hardware is Auracast-capable, full Auracast functionality will be enabled through a Signia One app firmware update by March 2027. Until then, Auracast is not yet activated.

Rechargeable Design

The Pure Charge&Go MaX is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid available in eight colors, offering up to 30 hours of battery life depending on use. It ships with a pocket-size portable charger that stores up to four full charges. A full charge takes about four hours, and a 30-minute quick charge provides up to six hours of use.

Why the Fitting Process Still Matters

The most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the best one for every person. Your hearing test results, speech-in-noise ability, ear anatomy, and listening needs all matter when selecting the right device. Dr. Kevin Ivory evaluates these factors before determining whether the Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is appropriate for you. If MaX is selected, we program and verify it with Real Ear Measurements, then use follow-up optimization through our ListeningBrain® Process to make sure the technology is truly improving your hearing in the situations that matter most.
